What is your gospel?
Some time ago I had a conversation with a lady at church about the topic of: “What Jesus do you have?.” That discussion prompted this post.
What is your gospel?
“I believe that God loves everyone and regardless of what people believe He will take everyone to heaven because in the end it’s all about His great love.”
“I believe that man is born good and just makes mistakes from time to time. Jesus came to reassure us that everything will be okay.”
“I believe that salvation is accomplished through my obedience to the law of God. God see’s that I’m trying and that is good enough for Him.”
“I believe that salvation is placing my faith in Jesus and obeying the scriptures. My obedience to the scriptures proves that I’m saved.”
“I believe that Jesus provided the free gift of salvation to everyone and it is up to us to make the choice for Him. I get to decide when I want to believe and make Jesus the Lord of my life.”
“I believe that man is spiritually dead and totally depraved. Salvation is a work of God in the person and work of Jesus Christ alone. That The Father draws you and The Son saves you. Salvation is totally secure in Christ and those that He saves He will raise up at the last day.”
“I believe that I can love Jesus and be saved and live how I want because God loves me and wants me to be happy. I can love whoever I want and treat people how I want because I’m saved.”
“I believe that God loves me and has a wonderful plan for my life. That because of His love for me I will be prosperous and all He wants for me to be is healthy and happy. Success is the sign of God’s favor in my life.”
“I believe that salvation is the synergistic work of God and man working together. That the Holy Spirit regenerates a persons heart just enough to allow them to make the choice for Jesus. God loves you and would never violate your free will.”
Have a blessed weekend.
