So a friend of mine sent me the below picture. The man who posted it is a “pastor” in a town about 40 minutes north of me. Dear pastors, anytime you begin with the sentence “The Lord showed me this…” it had better be from Scripture, His Word.
If it’s not, well you end up with this:
I did not realize that Abraham and Isaac were white guys, I had no clue that Ishmael was a young black man. I guess that I have been following the wrong Jesus all this time.
Now you know why I keep writing about preaching sound doctrine because the picture up above is false teaching, it is racist, it is not from Jesus Christ.
It is 1st Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” KJV
This is a doctrine taught by demons.
The Lord Jesus did not show this man this “truth”, this man follows a made up Christ, a god of his own making.
“The Lord showed me this…” never ends well, it normally ends up with the recipients in another country with a cold glass of…
P.S. The Kool-Aid man was a nice touch 😉
That Facebook post/meme has cult written all over it in my opinion. Any organization that claims exclusiveness like that is a red flag! Where do they come up with this stuff? Sounds like neo-nazism to me. It is extremely racist, not biblical and just ridiculous. They’re just misusing the Bible to justify the hate and intolerance they have in their own hearts, while trying to convince others that that is normal and acceptable. I guess it makes them feel good when others go along with that garbage. Stuff like can be very damaging to individuals and society. All I see is hate, intolerance and bigotry when I see that post, it doesn’t bring me any closer to knowing God…which is the ultimate goal right?
